In general, when the flue gas temperature is lower than 120 ℃ and the filter material is required to have acid resistance and durability, polyester pile cloth and polyester needle felt are often used; when treating high-temperature flue gas (< 250 ℃), graphitized glass fiber cloth is mainly used; in some special cases, carbon fiber filter material is selected.

It is very important to control the velocity of flue gas passing through filter material (called filtering speed) in the operation of bag filter. Generally, the filtration rate is 0.5-2 M / min. for particles larger than 0.1 μ m, the efficiency can reach more than 99%, and the resistance loss of the equipment is about 980-1470pa.
